About: Meet my Alts

Meet my Alts is a webpage dedicated to bringing players of online roleplaying games (MMORPG) together.

Do you remember the first online game you played? Possibly yes. Do you remember the people you played together with? Perhaps also yes. But do you know which game they are playing at the moment? Or which character in this game? Most certainly not.

So we try to provide a platform for all people who are dedicated to online role playing, to keep in touch with your guild mates or the other players from your clan, or corporation, or whatever your actual or former MMORPGs offered as form of permanent organization.

All you have to do is to register yourself, provide some basic data and (if you like to) some other methods of contacting you (like instant messaging) and then you can start entering you characters.

The data you can provide for each character differs for each game, because every game has slightly different ways of identifying "unique" players. In some games it is not more than the character name, in other games it depends on the area you are gaming, the realm you have created your character on, and in even other games there are completly unique ways of identifying your character.

You can also provide some additional data for your character, also dependent on the game you are or were playing. This may be the class of your character, the guild/clan/corporation you were organized in.

This webpage is not dedicated to a specific online game, but to the MMORPGs in whole. If a game is not supported at the moment (view here for a complete list of currently supported games) don't be afraid or sad, just drop us a message and we will try to add it to the database. If you would like to help us support "your" game and speed up the process of adding the game, include as many information as possible about the game, especially how you can distinguish between different players, if identical characters with the same name can exist parallel in the game and how you can tell them apart.

This is because of the reason we cannot have played every online game out there and are dependant on the information you deliver to us. We will try to add "your" game as fast as possible to the database, but I hope you understand that this process may take a couple of days or even weeks.

Once you have registered yourself you can start looking for your friends, searching for the chars in the different game and look which game they are playing at the moment. You can add them to your friendlist so you don't have to search every time for them again. And you can write them messages here!

We hope you find your friends (or perhaps even a former foe) again. If they are not yet here, try to spread the word Meet My Alts exists, so eventually they will hear from it and start registering themselves.
